Bicheno Bicheno is a quiet seaside resort town on Tasmania's east coast which is known for its safe beaches, interesting coastal and hinterland walks, its distinctive red lichen on granite outcrops and its impressive blowholes. Fishing and tourism are the economic forces driving the town with the local fishing fleet bringing in good hauls of rock lobster, abalone, salmon, mackerel, cod and trevally. Bicheno is located on Tasmania's east coast 178 km north east of Hobart and 159 km south east of Launceston. |

Bicheno Caravan Park & Take Away Foods Bicheno Caravan Park provides self-contained cabins and powered camp sites on Tasmania’s east coast at Bicheno. The self-contained cabins can accommodate up to five guests and have two separate bedrooms. There are onsite caravans also available, sleeping up to six guests. Powered and unpowered camp sites are suitable for tents and caravans. A convenient amenities block has showers and toilets as well as laundry facilities and there is an outdoor barbecue area and ample space for children to play. |

This paid campground offers drinking water and swimming. It is accessible to RVs, camper trailers and caravans and is dog friendly. Camping in tents is allowed. You must book in advance. "The Douglas" offers unique accommodation in a rural setting, bordering the ocean and the Douglas Apsley National Park and only 10 minutes from Bicheno on Tasmania's East Coast. Self contained camping is available in 10 acres of natural surrounds. There is plenty of car parking space, and pets are welcome if kept under control. This area is a walkers paradise. There are short or long beach walks, and for the keen bush walker there are many options, including a two day walk in the National Park. For surfers, there's a fantastic right hand break on the reef when the surf is up... Come and enjoy! |

It has a restroom with disabled and baby change areas available for cafe customer's convenience. They are RV friendly – for caravans, motor homes, boats and buses to park. There is a children's playground catering to all ages. |
